Join the Northern Saddle Club and be part of our vibrant horse community! Anyone can join the NSC.  Become a member today! Member Benefits: - Full use of the NSC Grounds

- Attend club functions and activities (trail rides, horse shows, social events, etc) The Northern Saddle Club currently offers 3 types of memberships:  Adult, Junior and Associate.  The Adult membership is a voting membership.  Please refer to the current Membership Form for current rates.  A membership with the BC Horse Council is required for both the owner and rider/handler at any NSC sanctioned event. The NSC also offers an Associate Membership for those individuals who would like belong to the organization for the social aspect of the club but will not be using the grounds or attending clinics, etc.  This non-voting membership does not require a HCBC membership.  For additional information about joining the Northern Saddle Club, please contact one of the Directors listed on the Contacts page.

GROUNDS ETIQUETTE

Here is a helpful reference for those sharing a riding ring with other riders.  There are some important guidelines that all riders should follow to ensure that everyone in the ring has a safe, positive riding experience.      Arena Etiquette Reference Sheet

CLINICS

If you are organizing a Clinic and would like to hold it at the NSC Grounds please email the Clinic info, preferred dates and requested ring/arena (eg. indoor arena) to the Events Coordinator. Please refer to the Event Organizer info sheet and Clinic Submission Form.  Once approval has been granted the event will be added to the on-line Events Calendar.
 The Clinic Form must be submitted to the Events Coordinator prior to the event (no later than one week prior).

STALL RENTALS

Please download and fill out the above forms for renting a stall. The Form MUST be filled out prior to stabling at the grounds.

Stabling Rules & Prices

  • All stall rent must be paid to the barn manager.

  • The stabling form on the stall door must be fully completed

  • All stalls must be left clean: or a cleaning fee of $15.00 will be charged

  • A clean stall is a stall that had been properly banked: and is free of manure and wet shavings.

  • Any damage must be reported to the Barn Manager (So it can be repaired).

  • Stall rental fees:
    Members pay                  $10.00 per day
    N
    on-Members pay          $15.00 per day
    Members pay                  $30.00 per week
    Members pay                 $100.00 per month

  • Marked day stalls are on the outside of Barn C, and are free for Members during the day. These stalls must be cleaned right away or this privledge will disappear.

  • All opened stalls must be reported to the Barn manager
